Here we go! LifeCycle 10 is just around the corner...

It sounds cliche, but it really does feel like just the other day when we crossed the finish line after biking 580 miles from SF to LA this past June. And already here we are, starting to train for the next 550+ miles. Sheesh! I have yet to send out the official "please support me" email to friends and family but consider this a test run. I've set my goal this year for $5,000 and, thanks to the extremely generous support of an amazing donor, am already $500 into it.

As I emphasized last year, any donation of any size is absolutely welcome. Last year just before the ride I was unemployed for about 13 months. Even still, I was able to support friends doing other amazing fundraising activities - even if it was just $10 at a time. At the end of the day, that $10 brought them that much closer to their goals.

Now that I've had a chance to settle into the new job (coincidentally with the SF AIDS Foundation) and finished all the Burning Man madness, I enter the big, big exciting world of training for ALC 10. My LifeCycle bike is ready to hit the pavement after a few months in storage and I can't wait to feel the clip of my shoes into pedals.

Feeling as inspired as I? Please click on over to make a donation! I'll be posting updates over the coming months here on my blog so check back or go ahead and follow me on twitter.

Putting the pedal to the metal,

Greg
